Project: Crochet Rilakkuma Bear

Many, many months ago, one of my co-workers had requested an Elmo amigurumi, but I never actually got around to it because I didn't like Elmo and didn't think he was that cute (sorry Elmo fans!!). So, in the end, she chose an alternative: a Rilakkuma Bear.

Here's how he turned out:

Pretty cute? He's only about 3 inches tall, so he was very travel friendly. I was able to make him fairly quickly since bears are actually pretty easy for me now. The only tedious part is attaching all those appendages and ears.

Project: Felted Deer

My first patterned felt doll. This was from Felt Friends from Japan by Naomi Tabatha.

Felt dolls are really time consuming when made by hand. If I ever make another felt doll, I think I would like to try it by machine. Hope you like it!!

It's been a long time..

So I haven't been updating in a while because I've had a ton of things going on in the last three months. I will not bore you all with the details, but the good new is I'm back and will shortly post up some new projects that I completed during that time frame!
